The Imperator Oculi (also known as the Vanguard) are a part of the Empires most elite warriors. They have many different types of units in the Vanguard, including raider type units but also warriors skilled in defense and more specialized aspects of combat. Imperator Soldiers are often experienced in multiple forms of combat, all needing to meet the base qualifications for cqb.
