The Mauthians are theorized to have gotten to the New World by accidentally going through the Portal that leads to it from Gothica. It is known that they are likely not the first or even the last humanoid race to come to the New World (obviously it is theorized that the Old Builders were the first), though they are thought to be the longest inhabitants of the New World. The New World is inhabited by many creatures and other human societies, mainly being the Argentan Empire, the Kingdom of Primarius, and various other human tribes. The Mauthians are the largest of these tribes, holding considerable power due to having dinosaurs still present in their lands and being able to tame them. Though these creatures are of little threat to the Argentan and Primarius Kingdoms (due to their advanced technology), they are a threat to the many other New World Tribes. The Mauthian tribe is both an agricultural and raider society, the farmers receiving protection from the tribe chieftains and kings in exchange for food and other resources. The average Mauthian warrior uses either a stone tomahawk or bow, with a simple pair of leather boots or a leather helmet.
