undying, but not divine. vv
ever-living, but not ever-young.
watching the rise and fall of man, civilization, empires.
but not from the heavens, masquerading as divine will, as some sacred god.
no, from below: in the bogs, the peats, the swamps.
left behind and forgotten, but never buried.
left to wander on the edges of life, half-seen, half-known. constantly dying, but never dead.
