I chose guilt. Something is fascinating about the way this emotion finds itself prevalent AFTER the action has taken place. It's not a burning passion, like love or joy. It sits in the background of your mind until the background is all that is left.

The first thing that came to mind was Macbeth. His thirsting ambition, and his anticlimactic demise. He feels guilt so... interestingly - that's why I used those quotes. It doesn't place itself at the forefront, but the guilt just slowly overwhelms all other emotion until eventually, he is so deep in the blood of others, that he is numb to all else.

Grossly, weirdly captivating. So I made my persona into Macbeth himself; with hands that will never be clean.
