Orc Spearman (Horns of War)

The cannon-fodder of Darkstalker's Horde, orcs are savage and merciless creatures that relish in the suffering of the other sapient species. These fiendish abominations enjoy pillaging, plundering and bloodshed, all in equal measure. While not particularly interested in Darkstalker's magic-user supremacist ideology, the cunning dragon mage has snared their services through the promises of wealth, slaves, and wanton slaughter. This orc is a spearman, soldiers armed with both a spear and a shield. They are often used in defensive formations, particularly when Darkstalker's horde is faced with a cavalry charge, but they also serve in an offensive capacity, using their shields to block arrows and minor spells being used by defenders.
