Get It Twisted- CE

TyphoonTwister invited me to participate in their contest for a new announcement skin, and this is my entry. The brief was to include a tornado on the front and some sort of exclamation point on the back with specific colors for the tornado itself, so I got to work. The overall design is based off of this really cool photo of a tornado tearing down a rain slicked road in Wisconsin. The big challenges were getting the gradients and reflections right and making sure the lighter edge was legible. The back was a lot easier, and I thought it would be neat to incorporate the exclamation point as a beat-up road sign instead of just sticking it somewhere random. Keeping the theme, you know? Overall I feel like I created something really cohesive and eye-catching and even if I don't win, I really enjoyed executing this design.

Also, I know that no one is actually going to wear this since it's a contest entry, but I did fully paint it as a wearable skin because I don't do anything by halves. Hope you like it. :)
