Taps

I like sunsets more than sunrises for a weird reason. While they both are amazing phenomena that rely on chemistry and physics interacting with our biology in order to be perceived and don't have a deeper philosophical meaning besides for the ones we humans assign to them, we humans keep assigning meaning to the pretty colors and lights anyway. For me, sunsets are symbolic of endings, of the temporary nature of life. I've been through a lot. In fact, I took the reference photo for this skin duringone of those periods of "a lot." The fact that everything ends and everything is temporary is a very comforting thought during periods of "a lot" because it means that this too shall pass. The sun sets, taps plays, and life goes on. I'd love to articulatemore about this but word count/mush brain/doubt that anyone is still reading.
