Aurora Borealis

The inspiration for this skin came from checking out those cool, minimalistic ones you see running around on servers with the mostly black body and a colorful gradient outline. I recently saw one that had colors that reminded me of the northern lights, and it made me wonder if I could represent such a breathtaking natural phenomenon in 8-bit as a skin. After some experimentation, a few restarts, and a lot of tweaks, this is the result. In my opinion this skin really shines when it's in motion. When running or skipping, the malachite green aurora set against faded stars seems to ripple across the character just as it does in real life.
