11) Name one purple gemstone that isn’t amethyst!
A: *furiously types question into google* jkjk, but there's a lot of other well-known gemstones that have purple variants such as sapphire, diamond and tourmaline.

I must say though, amethyst is the best hehe. i realise now that some answers are very long so, um, enjoy! also, thanks for the interview <3

9) Who’s your favourite skinner/skindex idol?
don't really look up to anyone, but I love making friends on Skindex! I have my real life friends CookieCrumblez, Bl0ss0mPanda and KatBonje (go follow them), and I love accounts that do fun things for other people to interact with, such as SkinFight, shoutout/positivity accounts, and theSkindexNEWS! (seriously you do so much managing this account as well as your own)

10) If you could be another user for a day, who would it be?
It might sound weird, but I feel like being you (theSkindexNEWS) would be so interesting! I think it's fun to host these interviews, shout people out and post contests to help people explore this community easier and get the most out of their time on Skindex.

7) What’s the best part of posting a skin?
Gonna be honest, I refresh my page like, every minute after I post a skin to see how many likes it has. It kind of shows me how much everyone else likes it too. I love it when people leave nice comments on them too, so if you wanna make someone's day, post some nice comments for them!

8) What’s the worst part of posting a skin?
It's sad when I worked really hard on a skin only for it to only get a few likes. I know it could be because I posted at the wrong time (when no one's online), or I just happened to be unlucky that no one saw it, but I feel sad either way.

5) How did you choose your username?
A: My old username was INeedMentalHelp (ik so quirky) and realised I kinda wanted to change it. My favourite colour is purple and my birthstone is amethyst, so I picked to name myself after it. amythest was taken so I put an x on the end lol. As much as I'd like to say it was on purpose, yes I did accidentally spell amethyst wrong the one time it mattered, but now I embrace it!

6) What motivates you to continue skinning?
A: I love the community! I love the idea that entering someone's contest makes them happy and I love shouting out underrated skinners (hence why I started making Shoutouts Weekly/Monthly).

3) What’s your favourite skin that you’ve made?
Out of the ones I've made completely by myself (so not contest entries), I think my favourites are Coral reef and January from my Months Redesigns

4) What’s your favourite colour to shade?
A: I really like shading 'sunset' colours (basically hue shifting from dark pink to light yellow), and I also like shading blue/green. I also like purple, probably because I like purple though.

1) How did you start skinning?
A: Me and a real life friend had just gotten Minecraft again (we had both played about 2012 on xbox) and realised we could make our own skins. we both found skindex, made accounts and started making skins, and I guess I enjoyed it so much I carried on until today (except for a 2 year break).

2) What’s your favourite part of the skin?
A: I love shading the hair. I've started doing a gradient on the hair and it's so fun seeing it come to life. I'm obsessed with hue shifting and gradients so I love making reeeeeally long hair.
