pointy ears, horns, tail
flapping about with big, leathery wings

the devil is dashing, enticing, charming
he is irresistible to all
he coaxes desire, fans the flames of hatred
the ringleader of a circus built upon deadly sins

he is more than a leader, a dictator, a monarch
he is so much more than wicked
evil fills his very being
horrifically contagious

no holy spirits can rescue you from his clutches
the purest of souls are poisoned
the most righteous of minds come crashing down
oh, so deep, never to rise again

the devil is undeniably evil
the devil is unforgivingly handsome
it is impossible to shield yourself
from the lure of his golden eyes
