Researchers in a mansion attempted to restart their operations with Overworld creatures and volunteers. The experiments, however, split and created a large makeshift multi-layered wood fortress and learned how to make more of themselves thanks to reproduction. The most common of these creatures, the Vindicating Glutton, has high metabolism and as a result, eats far more often than other species in the fortress. These creatures also have modified axes and sharp claws that they can use when their axes are lost. These creatures feast on anything they can find: Fruits, bugs, corpses, just about anything that has nutritional value. Unlike Illagers, they aren't inherently hostile, and are instead territorial, although one should still be cautious when near their fortress.
