Idea inspired by RezonantVoid (thank you)

Peaceful but skittish creatures residing in flower fields, they feed on the flowers present and wait for bees to pollinate specific flowers so they can eat out of them. They have managed to build up an immunity to a specific poison found in the Lily of the Valley and can instead use it against predators or attackers. They can glide with utter excellence and have colonies of them residing in hive-like structures
made out of wood and dirt. People have made it a hobby to watch Lepidoptians from a distance due to their majestic way of flying, allowing these magnificent insects to mind their own business and do whatever they do when they aren't watched by magnified glass.

I don't have much of a noticeable pattern. It's whatever I think of and feel like is a good enough idea. I may have a few series here and there but that's pretty much it.
I do the same

hello
If you do end up making more of these, aposematic colouration might be another great texture idea to play around with. Moths and butterflies are some of the best examples of using patterns and colours to confuse attackers
I attempted something somewhat similar to that for the wings of the Lepidoptians, although I will do some thought for the moth fellows.
Perhaps. That will be a feature to consider.

ah, that makes sense

After I dig up gold in the potential of the Nether, I kick back and go back to the Overworld.
Happy to help, awesome job. Some months in the real world are great at slipping through spider webs due to the dust/scales covering their wings and body, perhaps these too would be capable of the same ingame
