An ancient civilization once tried to make weapons of war by fusing together creatures from the Nether, due to most of them being incredibly dangerous. They then set up labs in the Nether in the form of fortresses. However, one of their specimens, which was created
by a fusion of a Strider and a Piglin, was actually the complete opposite of what they intended. They were incredibly peaceful and did nothing but lounge about in their lab,. However, the civilization noticed that they are active around warped fungi, and realized they could still use them to carry objects with a warped fungus on a stick, and eventually were named Haulers by their creators. These creatures were eventually liberated when the civilization was attacked by another unknown civilization that knew of what was going on in the Nether. Most of the specimens broke out and left the fortress in a ruined state, while Haulers either just stayed in the fortress being lazy, or sleeping on a strider. Nevertheless an interesting sight to behold on the Lava Lakes.
