"Part of the map through the nether leads through a sizeable basalt delta. Its the first time I've beheld such towering spires of volcanic rock, formed ages ago by now absent water. I'm glad I thoroughly prepared for the heat."
"One thing I can say I hadn't prepared for however, was being chased by what I can only describe as a living block of basalt, covered in carved chunks of blackstone. The armour was stitched together with a cloth that appeared to be made from beads of quartz, which I'm assuming have been threaded together using the fibres growing from the creatures called 'Striders'. The entity was adept at using a bow made of the same cyan wood I saw at the portal, and superheated it's hand to light its arrows on fire. It's a miracle my notebook wasn't set ablaze during the ordeal."
"Given the workmanship of the armour, I can't help but wonder if this was perhaps a being from the village I am searching for. I despair if so, as if this is how they treat guests from afar, I hate to think how ill be welcomed once reaching said village. I have no clue what the inhabitants are even supposed to look like, so I cant rule it out. Nonetheless, I'm too close to give up."

I'm happy you enjoy them. However, sculk skins are still my origin and preference. Not to say I intend to rush through the nether ones and not put effort into them tho

There was at least hint of civilization considering the fortresses and remnants, and the fact that Piglins exist.

In a world as barren as the nether, you've gotta get resourceful. Although I imagine the nether wasn't always so bleak
TheFishMan
interesting inclusiveness of various materials, the last thing I expected was strider hair
