Golems created by ancient engineers used to replace the burden of guarding kingdoms and labor with automatons powered by enchanted golden apples deep inside its stony body, keeping it on permanently. They have seen better days and instances of them have been seen roaming the world or constructing entire houses. It is unknown what the orange substance is and doesn't impede the Golem's performance.
