Pass the Tea

When i was little, i had some type of like accent?? That made me sound british, I'm from Arizona, i've never left the states. And so in 3rd grade people who didn't know me to well would ask if i was from England when im not. So i'd ask why and they would say its because of my accent. At the time, i didn't even know accents were a thing and yea. I think it was just because of my lisp. I know, don't think i sound english at all but others say otherwise but i've grown to just not care. If i went to England and talked, i would sound american for sure. I just think those kids were to young to actually know what english people actually sound like, they do not sound like me lol.
