ok! Um, add lots of description and speaking...you can add a ton of details like

The girl tried to walk her bike on the curb, but failed, so she tried again, but once again, it fell off, so she gave up the idea compeatly.

That was an example XD

Don't start too many sentences with Then or But . You can switch But with However. You can also start a sentence like this:
Running down the hill, the boy....

makes it interesting.
