Hawthorne was dropped off at an orphanage with only his first name.One of his eyes went blind when a knife hit it in a fight.He is now an anti-hero known as Hot Thorn which is a play-off of his name.He wears a skull mask to cover his face and let his hair grow over his blind eye.
