They decided Malachi should do what he wanted. Malachi said he should hang in the hallway till Jaylee asked to see him. Jenna lend the way to Jay's hospital room, 54 on floor 5. Maylee stayed in the middle of the group, as she thought about Jaylee then Malachi, Malachi stayed quiet at the back of the group. Malachi was worried about Jaylee since they left the house, but when he thought he saw her in the window... his mind changed the thought for him, to a peaceful field outside of Aquarine...

As Jenna, May, and Malachi walked into the hospital, May noticed that Malachi was shaking. May wanted to ask how Malachi met Jay... but she didn't because she didn't want to scare Malachi any more then she already has. Jenna noticed Malachi shaking and said "Hey, Malachi, you okay?" "ehh... yeah I'm okay..." Malachi answered. *His voice has gotten deeper...* thought May. They all sat for a few minutes, deciding if Malachi should see Jay since he was still shaking.
