The last of your consciousness drifts away, and…the Phantom Stone is born. ~End~

The mist floats closer and closer, expanding until it's broken through the roof and is now towering above you. You feel a pang of regret, but stand your ground. The mist floats around, getting closer and closer until it's wrapped around your body. It seeps into your soul, making you drop the stone. You expect to feel horrible pain, but instead you feel incredible confidence. You are unstoppable.

A white mist floats into the room, glowing blood red eyes gleaming maliciously from behind the cloud. You try to run as you were told to do, but something inside you stops you from sprinting away. You stand on the dark wood floor, gripping the stone tightly, glaring at the mist.

"This must be it,"you whisper in a hushed, awed whisper. "The Night Stone." But fear keeps you from going in to get the stone. "The Phantom will get me." You grit your teeth, torn between running away or taking the stone. You frown, but decide to take the stone. You leap toward the table, gripping the Night Stone in your hand-but an otherworldly wail sounds from above you.

The stairs creak and scream as your start sprinting up them. You stop, seeing a large, dark platform with a strange object resting in the middle of it. As you get closer, you see that it's a sort of table, rectangular, with a silvery-purple-blue silk cloth draped over. On top of the table sits a glossy black stone.

You brace yourself for the the Phantom to attack, for the darkness to take over-but nothing happens. You cautiously place your feet on the first rotting step, then gradually start climbing up the staircase faster and faster. Rain threatens to collapse the tower as you get higher up.
