.. 'I sat in the back of the class, staring at the white board. This week we were learning about catastrophic events in history. Many of the other students were listening as well. But when the teacher's back was turned, they whispered to other students. Soon the teacher turned around and started to call on people. Many students didnt know the answers. Than, she called on me. "Aurelia, do you know the answer?" Everyone was staring at me by now. I lowered my head, "No.." She nodded slowly and turned back to the chalkboard....' I ran to a corner of the building and sat down. I took two long breaths. What was I doing? I was going to go see my father. I was going to go help him. I stood up and walked out into the dirt street. The roads seemed to be abandon. Like nobody had walked there in ages. I stopped in the middle of the street and looked back at the safety building. It looked beat up and destroyed. It was not as bad as the other building around. But it looked like it was barely standing..
I pulled my rabbit out of my travel bag and held him in my hands. I started down the street, away from the safety house. I was determent to find my father. I needed to find my father. No matter how much pain i have to go through...
I slowly moved the table out of the way so i could pass through the hole. I passed through both of the double doors and ran up the stairs. I had my travel bag with me. I had water, food, my rabbit, a camera, a hat, and a pistol. My father always said to carry the pistol with me no matter where i went. When i finally got to the first floor, I ran over to the large door that lead outside. I pushed it open and walked outside...

Thunder boomed outside. Lightning struck the Earth. My heart skipped a beat every strike. I held my rabbit tightly in both hands as if my life depended on it. Everyone gathered around a long table full of food that had been stored. I sat, alone, on the other side of the living area. I stared at each soul. How could they eat during all of this? This tragedy, this mistake. I stood up and walked over to the hole in the wall leading to the stairs..
