We both stood up and hugged. "Good luck with your parents today!" He waved good-bye and walked away into the forest trees. I walked over to the end of the small clearing. I hesitated. The last time i tried to leave, i was almost killed.. I reached out to the barrier. "Ow!" I quickly pulled back my hand. It was blood red. The barrier had shocked me.. I looked back to where I had reached out to it. There was a small hole there. About the size of my finger. I gasped. The barrier was getting older and older by the day. Could it... break apart?
I reached out to touch the barrier again, but this time with two fingers. When i touched it, a purple shock-wave ran through the barrier and than it shocked me. I back away from it and sat down in the grass. I had to get out of this place. It was killing me. Taking my memories and turning them to dust. It was taking my past and just throwing it out the window. I put my head in my hands. What if Jackson could help? Would he be able to help me get through the barrier? He can walk through it just fine! But that is only because he is dead. I had to many options. So many questions. If i stayed in the place, i would be killed. If i leave, i might be able to become myself again...

It was as if my past self was being taken away from me. Like i would never get it back. My old body finally disappeared into thin air. I covered my mouth with my hand to keep myself from crying. I started shaking. Every good memory just washed on by like it wasnt important. Like it wasnt my life. Finally a memory of my mother stopped in front of me. I reached out to touch it, but it disappeared when my hand came close to it.... "Sarah? You okay?" said Jackson. My eyes snapped open, "What?" "You were shaking really badly." he said. "Oh.. yea im fine. Just a bad dream." I said..
