Kenzel's POV: All that was left of the monster was a bloody heap of who knew what. I stared at Kaitlyn. "How…?"I stuttered. She looked embarrassed and said,"Well, I have earth powers…" "Thank you so much!" Qyliaea exclaimed. "But look at Kenzel's arm…" I forced myself to look. It was worse than I thought. There were deep red scratches, bleeding scarlet red blood. "We need to keep going,"Rivershadow said."Will you be okay?"

Kenzel's POV: I jumped out of the way as it lunged at me. I barely had time to summon light before it attacked. I got it in the eye, but it had scratched my arm, leaving bloody marks. It roared in pain as a rumbling filled the air. Tiny, grubby men covered in dirt jumped out of the earth and looked at Kaitlyn. "Kill it!"she ordered, pointing at the monster. They jumped onto it and slashed at it furiously. They jumped off of it and retreated back into the earth.

Qyliaea's POV: I heard a rustling in the bushes. I looked towards the forest, frozen with fear. The noise became louder and louder as Rivershadow started to whine. Suddenly, a huge monster burst out of the trees and snarled. It was the ugliest thing I had ever seen.It had teeth as sharp as a sword and multiple glowing red eyes. Its barbed tail swerved to the side as it approached us.
