Kenzel's POV: The dragon pinned Qyliaea to the ground. She swung her sword wildly, but the dragon leapt back, still keeping its claw on her. Rivershadow attacked the dragon, her fangs bared. I shot a beam of light at the dragon, hitting it right in its yellow eye. It screeched in agony as Qyliaea rolled out from under it and turned back into a serpent. She bit the dragon in the neck, and I shot another beam of light. The dragon collapsed.

Kenzel's POV: Qyliaea hissed and spat venom at it, but the dragon dodged out of the way. I fell off, and just managed to grab a scale and climb back up. Rivershadow growled and jumped at the dragon, biting and snarling. It roared in pain as she bit its foot. Qyliaea lowered me down to the ground, then transformed into her human form. We both ran toward the dragon, summoning lightness and darkness.
