Kenzel's POV: Too tired to fight, I let Qyliaea and the wolf drag me along the forest path. Qyliaea suddenly stopped and said,"Should I just let you ride on me? The people won't be able to see it. They'll probably think it's a crane or something." I had no idea what a crane was, but the wolf seemed to agree. Qyliaea morphed into a serpent, her skin turning black and scaly as she rose to the height of the huge tree in the middle of the old village.

Kenzel's POV: Suddenly, I felt as if I was being dragged at the speed of light through the sky on a windy day. The wind rushed past me, and I felt like the skin on my face was going to come off and be carried away by it. The darkness disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.
