We had arrived at the village. Rivershadow kept casting furtive glances around. Suddenly, I heard a rustling noise, and the next thing I knew, I was trapped in a net. I looked around and saw elves surrounding me. I noticed one…one that looked special. A beautiful girl with long blond hair, a long lavender dress, and lavender eyes. NEXT CHAPTER

"Wait!"I called to her. She walked back to me. "Well…since there are lots of things I don't know about you…I thought I might as well tell you my secret. I'm half serpent." Rivershadow smiled and said,"I already knew." Wow, I thought as we ran towards the village, does Rivershadow know everything?

"There is no time to waste. We must find the girl now!"Rivershadow growled. She morphed into a huge griffin, but I wasn't surprised. She leaned down and I climbed onto her back. As we soared down, I finally got a glimpse of the valley. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Huge trees loomed over lush green grass and…houses! This must be the village! We landed with a thud, and Rivershadow, now in her wolf form, trotted into the village.

Rivershadow leaped at the door and, with a flash of light, she was gone. I followed her. ≈≈≈ We arrived on a snowy mountaintop. Rivershadow waved her massive midnight black paw around me, and I suddenly found myself in the blackest(is that a word?XD) armor I had ever seen. "Rivershadow!"I gasped."I didn't know you could do that!" She smiled at me. "I have hidden many things from you, young one." I stared at her.
