She grinned and me sheepishly, and started walking north. Suddenly, I smelled something very strange…the scent of the wilderness. You would expect to smell that in a forest, but this was different. Rivershadow morphed back into herself, and we both sprinted to where the scent seemed to be coming from. We arrived at a large bush, and I pushed the leaves aside. Behind them was a huge quartz stone, surrounded by silver!

I carried Rivershadow's crate across the aisle to the exit. When I let her get out, she started tugging on her leash towards a forest. "Stop!"I whispered furiously to her, but she wouldn't listen. As she pulled me along, I wondered why we were going towards the forest. Wouldn't a girl live in a city? But I didn't have time to think about it, because Rivershadow wasn't looking where she was going and we slammed into an oak tree!
