Origin in Greek. Means 'gold flower'

I forgot to add the meaning of the name. I got this off a website called nameberry. One of the rarest of the flower names, that of the blossom celebrated in Japan as a symbol of the sun and a possible object of meditation. Yah, so there you go. I really love the name. The flower is also really pretty.
