Alex!" Alex finally came. "Wha...?" she said sleepily, yawning a massive yawn. Then she saw Diana. "Diana! Why are you here? Come in!" She opened the door. Diana came in, shivering. She was scratched all over, and her clothes were ripped. Mia and Alex gasped. "What is up with your hair, girl?" Alex asked. "No...time. Got to... get out..of here. Now." Diana gasped, then collaped. "Take...dogs...lets go...Now"

Mia woke to the sound of tapping. It was coming from the window. Mia sleepily rolled over on the couch which she had fallen asleep on. What she saw suprised her so much it made her fall off the couch altogether. "Diana! What? How? You are going to get in to so much trouble! How are you here!" She checked her watch. "1 am. 1 am!! Why are you here!" Mia started to get angry. "Alex! Get your silly friend out of here! She lives like, 8 miles away from here! How? What? Alex, where are you? Alex?...

She wanted to go too! "Okay then. Snowy, lets go!" Alex and Snowy ran outside. Mia sighed. She snuggled with her bright red dog, Flame. "What is she thinking?!" Mia muttered to Flame as she watched Alex and Snowy running around in the heavy snow. Mia gently closed her eyes. "Do me a favour, Flame. When Alex comes back, ask her if shes CRAZY, and if she froze, make sure mum knows." Flame barked as if to say "Sure!" Mia smiled and gently fell asleep.

"Hmmm. I think it's way to hot here!" She walked to the window. Snow was falling heavily. She sighed a longing sigh. "I wish it wasn't snowing, though. Mum doesn't let us out when it's snowing. But she does let us out when it's raining." She suddenly sat up. "Hey! Wanna go outside?" she asked. Mia sighed. "Yeah! It's only -100 degrees out there, and the snow is like a metre away from the ground! Stop joking around, Alex. It's way too cold for me. Go with Snowy." Snowy, the pure white dog barked.

The fire crackled merrily in the fireplace. Mia shivered, and wrapped herself more in the warm fuzzy blanket covering her. "Brrr," she said. "It's always so cold at our birthday." She shivered again, and stood up towards the fire. Her twin, Alex, sat next to her.
