Brine what you can do is soak it in water for 3 sec and then have a bag of rice with you put the ipod in the rice after the 75 hours it should be fine it works for phones so maby it will work for your ipod happy to help

Something's wrong with my iPod 4 and every time I type in the password, it disables me. I've already been disabled to the point where I had to connect to iTunes, and we tried restoring it overnight but it didn't work. So now all that I want is to erase my data and stuff so I can get into my iPod again, like, you know....restoring and stuff. Dad told me that he's not getting another one for me for Christmas, which is really unfair! I know that lots of my classmates' parent's would!PLEASE HELP :,(
The only way that could have happened is if someone knew your previous password so they changed it. And never compare yourself with others, there are always less fortunate people who had to buy their own iPod the first time.

ipod's are exspensive so I can see where your parents are coming from. The best idea is to sinc the ipod up onto the computer so you stuff isn't lost. Then you could reset it I believe. Its not really unfair you gotta cut your parents some slack, I mean they actualy GAVE you that nice technology, I would do some research on how to fix it.

I'm sorry but mine did the same thing... it can't be fixed from my observation. I didn't really want a new one, so I just sold its pieces and such to a friend who fixes stuff, but even he couldn't get it to work... :(
