It sounds to me like you are very self-important. It's a metaphor you see, the skindex would be dead to me.
ratlover
I was being sarcastic. I do that A LOT. no reason to leave.

I'm not entirely sure that I understand your last sentence. If people flag your skins, the Skindex is dead? So the Skindex is alive as long as people don't flag your skins? So the Skindex's well-being depends on people not flagging your skins? Someone is very self-important. And I personally don't randomly flag skins, which you seem to believe. I'm not an English teacher either. Had I been an English teacher, I would most likely be grading papers and have better things to do than argue with people several times younger than myself about a problem that isn't a concern in the real world. Speaking of which, thanks for the reminder. I have better things than starting cyber-wars, no matter how rudely people communicate their points. In fact, I'm soon moving to Planet Minecraft, where the community is much better and arguments like these don't happen as frequently. Whether or not the Skindex is dead is no longer my concern, so let the vultures fight over the pickings. I'm leaving.

I think this may be just a bit drastic.... Ok, people ask for likes. So what? As long as the people are happy with the skins that have been made from that person it shouldn't be a problem. And if you haven't noticed the whole "flag" option is for inappropriate content. If you want to make a real concern, i suggest looking into **** skins. ~ Jasmine <3

God, are you an English teacher or something? With a lot of people I talk to, we agree to, lets say, "harshly" disagree. If you plan on starting a war, that's your problem. But feel free to restart this argument over on my profile. But if anyone flags my skins, the skindex is dead, and left for vultures to fight eachother over.

And in some cases, I believe we do need to flag skins asking for likes in the example I provided earlier. If these skinners actively resist people who ask them not to ask for likes and people who ask them to follow the Skindex's rules, then let them leave, in my opinion. They can come back when they stop acting like they're above all the rules like five year olds. Sometimes politely but firmly telling them to stop asking for likes works, but most of the time people are aware of the consequences of asking for likes and ignore people who ask them.

Perhaps I should have been more clear in what I was saying. I was saying that first, I can see why you get annoyed when people say your wrong, and secondly, I wasn't saying it would be nice for you just to let me verbally step all over you. My intention in saying that was I think it would be nice if you didn't say I was wrong outright, and instead saying that you disagree politely.
ratlover
And i'm not gonna give you the courtesy to tell me that I'm wrong. I don't believe we should be allowed to stand idly by, but I do believe in doing the right thing. Hopefully, you understand that.

We don't need to. It's just a way to get people that could be great skinners, leave the skindex. If we nicely, but firmly tell them to figure out their own way of skinning, then maybe we can make the skindex a better place.

I can see why you think that. It gets annoying when people say or imply outright that your ideas are wrong. It would be nice if you could give me that courtesy. And I'm glad we both agree that eventually you'll need to flag skins that ask for likes.
