I would go ahead and delete the skin, just to be on the safe side.

Umm actually it says no uploading the default skin from the SKIN EDITOR. Not Steve. The skin editor guy is that Pumpkin in a Suit. Steve is the default character of Minecraft, not Skindex. Hope this helped. :)
