During the battle against Dusk, Jeff had to sacrifice his "Ultra Hero" ability so that Dusk would absorb him. Beyond Dusk was born and came close to defeating the group, until the strain of using the "Ultra Hero" power took its toll and finished Dusk off, allowing Jeff to win the fight. This is Jeff's appearance after the battle; he is now without his ability but living a quiet life.
