but it sometimes makes you wonder if these people actually know how to read, or how old these people are. like i would understand if its like a four year old child looking for cool skins to wear in game and they just press everything on all the skins they like. but if it’s someone with (hopefully) common sense and some reading ability.. yeah uh idk
and I used to do that too, but then I think I heard it could possibly get you banned, so then I stopped. I don’t even like my own skins with just my main anymore because of that because I’m so paranoid about it.

it also makes you feel more accomplished making something for yourself, instead of taking the lazy route and using a skin another person made for you

ig some just view skins as random outfits to wear in minecraft rather than unique works of art and dont really pay attention
and the slop ones often times look like youtuber skins or resemble them a little bit and so that doesnt help.
one thing i sometimes do to boost the skins of others that i really like is go and like the skin on all of my five accounts so that it gets recognized on the top page, but idk im kind of on edge about that

im the same way, im a do it myself freak.
if it isnt my work, i dont want to use it, even if my work is worse than someone else's i could have used.

but it has three downloads currently?
unless there are bots dedicated to mass-downloading every skin, I don’t know why two other people would decide to download it when it’s not a free base. idk though
oh and then there’s the “slop” skins that get on top page with hundreds of views and downloads, and look like they were made in less than five minutes. meanwhile skins that actually look like they had effort put into them only get like three downloads. it’s really sad.

I don’t ever download other people’s skins. I’m just not comfortable with using something that someone else made

like theres entire accs who are like "no one download pls" or on prize bases when people say "dont use its only for so and so" it always has downloads
but then yeah when hard work is put into skins they just seem to flop most of the time or something like that..

it MAY be because some people just download every skin from people they follow? like on reflex, to support them? sort of like another form of liking for them? idkfs though, i dont do this, my computer is not stong enough to handle that

i’ve noticed that whenever someone says not to download or use their skin
people download and use it anyway
but whenever you post a skin people can use for free
no one ever downloads it
its really weird
