if there is anything writing related i will find it
there’s also the problem of, “oh, this idea sounds super cool in my head, I absolutely love where this is going. I can picture this and that happening, and overall this seems like the best thing I’ve ever come up with.”
and then it comes time to actually write it in your story
and it turns out absolutely nothing like how you envisioned it (and typically in my case, it ends up becoming trash).
maybe because it’s easier to picture things in your mind because you know what it’s supposed to look like and you don’t need to write down 5,000 words to describe everything in the scene.

it all depends on context and the situation, and also how you personally feel about it. don’t be concerned with what someone else wants you to do.
i kinda change my comment style based on who i’m talking to and what about
glitch i genuinely thought you guys were having an argument or something at first because you keep using periods at the end of every sentence and i swear you never use them normally 💀
it’s not just you, definitely not.
though go i will say i don’t really go back and think my ideas were bad, it’s just that i think my execution was terrible.
imo, almost anything can be good in the hands of a good writer.
then there’s the fact anything too technical i worry will sound funny to other people when it isn’t meant to.
but it’s not just a you thing.

i think that you shouldn’t be forced into things if you don’t want to do them and they aren’t necessary. like if you’re starving someone should force you to eat.. but if it’s like an extracurricular or something someone wants you to do, they shouldn’t be allowed to make you

i just dont like the idea of other people reading my writing
like, do you ever go through those times where you think a concept seems like a good idea when you came up with it, and then you go through with it. but then later, could be months or even years later, you look back and wonder, “why did i ever think this was a good idea? this is terrible.”
and then something you once were considering sharing to people suddenly becomes this monstrosity, the worst thing you’ve ever laid eyes upon.
sorry for the rant, but is that just me?

if youre not prepared, then no one, not even yourself, should pressure you into doing something you’re not ready for, or don’t feel the best about.
