(I wore this today)

She pushed past the wild, untamed bushes, scraggly grass and rain-soaked, gnarly trees. Her feet slipped uncontrollably on the wet mud dam****d by today’s shower of rain. The sound of the breaking of the surf and the slight pattering of more rain worked its way into her ears, calming her nerves. The slope continued upwards, making her knees weak and calves hurt as she advances up it towards the crest of the hill. Her shoes started to fill with sand from the path and water dripping from the dripping branches above. She pushed further, her calves screaming at her to stop, but alas, she doesn’t slow her pace. She needs to make it to the top of the hill at all costs. She had a deadline to make. Her feet slip some more on the dirt and mud, and her arms fly out and grab the nearest tree trunk for balance. She doesn’t stop for long though, and through her panting, she continues. She is almost at the top of the hill, all she needs is 5.. more.. steps-

I know the story doesn’t make much sense, but it’s pretty much what happened to me today ;D
