This regular adventurer spent too much time in water. After a large aquifer collapsed into their mine, they had to make an emergency escape to the surface. After successfully reaching their exit, it was clear that they were in the water too long, as their skin had turned a scaly green-blue color, their eyes were glowing, and they had developed the ability to breathe underwater.

After extensive studies by Emrath Priests, it was concluded that this adventurer was infected by Guardian Essence, which causes the Drowned transformation.
