A closet door opens, and I see Socs fall out, limped.
"Socs? SOCS!"
He didn't move.
"No, no no no no no no no no NO! Socs, no."
Melia covered Maria's eyes.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Switch laughed with his comrades.
"You!" I growled. "You did this!"
"Oh, we most certainly did. You see, that detective thought he could trick dappergangers, literal ghosts."
"Wait, you three are DEAD."
"Yes, and you will be soon."
