The woman screamed as something wrapped around her ankle. She looked down and tried to get out of the grasp, realizing it was a mangled hand connected to no body. A large bone poked out of where the arm should be. As she kept thrashing in its grasp, her fiance crushed it beneath his freshly polished loafer. While they were distracted, a crowd of the undead crawled out from under furniture and dropped from the spired ceilings. They were soon overtaken and were viciously mauled, still screaming and clawing at their attackers. However, no matter how hard they tried to escape, they were too injured to succeed. The zombified couple mindlessly joined the others on their mission for conquest and ended up starting an apocalypse by each other's sides. Always together, even in death.
June and her soon-to-be husband planned to elope in the next town over, where there were many places for a beautiful destination wedding. They got all dressed up and drove to the city, deciding to stop at an ancient cathedral with spires touching the clouds and magnificent stained glass windows. Something about the place drew the couple in, but they couldn't figure out what it was.
They parked and left their car outside, while the two went in to explore and say their vows. Their footsteps ec***d throughout the building, and they held hands tightly out of fear. Spiderwebs and moss grew up the walls, and the place had a damp smell. The couple started to doubt their decision and tried to back out, but the double doors locked behind them.
