"Okay," I said. "This is getting to weird. First Elizabeth, then Melia, after that was Amnce, and now Socs? Who's next Amber?" *Foreshadowing!*
Socs held two daggers in his hand. "Prepare for battle, knave!" He shouted.
We fought, and I won again.
He shook. "I . . . I lost," he muttered and pulled a dagger toward his nek. "Only death can be a reward."
"Whoa whoa whoa!" I shouted. "Stop! Don't kill yourself! Just go!"
He did.
