now that im looking at this skin again over a week later, i really am not a fan of how this turned out but its way too late to fix any of it.
anyway, yes, i tried to lightsource this skin but it didn’t go very well (as expected from a mobile skinner xd)
and i know it’s really hard to see but there’s stripes on the sides of his head, cause like idk.. they’re like gills i guess? i don’t actually know

before I go into the description, credit to crayon8 for the below images! (one of them is just a full origin form version of the mascot, and the other is kind of just information I retyped out). she made all the art and images during this process, which really helped me make both the skin and compile enough information together to create the whole description.

Blue was also the first Purpur Ink creature to be discovered. Purpur Inks are also known to be colorblind, so that information also went into consideration when the scientists were deciding on the name for this new species. So far, there are only a few dozen Purpur Inks that have been discovered. A special trait that this species has is they can transform into anything they desire. For instance, as shown in the above skin, the human version of Blue exists, despite him being initially discovered in his origin form (shaped as a blob, for reference). This means that Purpur Inks can essentially transform into anything, even something that you would never have imagined to exist before.

. As our team name is Crescendo, and Blue was discovered in the Crescendo Trench (not a real location) near Singapore, we chose him as our mascot mainly based on this location alone (again, not a real trench). We also did not want to have a generic mascot either (and this was really the only thing we could come with actually that we agreed on).

- Purpur Ink is a species of sea creatures living at the very bottom of the sea. When initially discovered, the scientists believed the creature was the color blue; this was due to the small amounts of light in deep ocean waters where it was found.
