Well. Since people are trying to convince me to keep my account, I’ll reconsider considering deleting my account. But I will take a break for a while soon.

I’m considering deleting my account. I don’t enjoy seeing my skins edited and reposted. I know some creators allow their skins edited, but I do not. I work hard to make these skins unique. When I see an edit, it’s like seeing people criticizing my art and finding potential ways to make it better. Or just a repost. People use my creations for their own benefit.

But other reasons I’m considering deleting my account. School. I have a lot more homework and I really just don’t have much time for skinning anymore.

Mental state. I have some mental illnesses making it a lot harder to have motivation to do anything at all. It’s getting harder and harder every day to just do simple things.

Life in general I guess. I don’t have good communication skills (in case you haven’t figured that out yet). I need to improve in that category and sitting in my room making Minecraft skins isn’t really helping that.

It’s been fun.





If I do decide to delete my account, it will be after Skintober or Skinmas.

nooooooooo!!! pls do not! But on a more serious note, like glitch said, do what you want. I think that if your worried about your skins getting stolen, you can always make a new account and only share it with your followers. I am pretty sure account searching is disabled now, so I think that you could publicly state that ur leaving and continue of your new account. that doesn't, however, solve the other problems. It is your descisoin, not mine. Have a nice day! :3

Yes!! It seems repetitive probably at this point, but pls don’t delete all of this <3 even if u r feeling like u need a break, or even if ur planning on leaving forever, it isn’t worth getting rid of everything uve worked so hard to do! Maybe some people steal ur skins or edit them. And when they do, they are breaking the rules and disrespecting ur hard work. But.. u could also think of it in a SOMEWHAT positive way! Those ppl like ur skins so much that they wish they could have the talent and success u do!!

And no matter how u think of it, u can be sure that there are for certain at least 754 people who truly enjoy what u do, who rly believe that you are gifted and creative and would be heartbroken to see you leave. There could be someone who looks up to you, who (cont)
Aspires to become like you, and thinks of you as the best skinner out there. I know I wouldn’t want to let those people, that person, down.

Anyways. You do what you want. But please consider not getting rid of everything uve worked so hard on <3

if you delete your account, you're deleting all the hard work you put into your skins. if you need to leave for your own mental health, no one will blame you, do what you need to <3 but please don't delete your account, you've put so much effort into all of your skins and if you keep it you can always come back someday if you want to. don't let the haters get to you! <3

I’m so sorry to hear that, vesper. if you’re struggling, then by all means put yourself first. your mental health and education are the most important things <3

that being said, please don’t delete your account!
it’s clear that you’ve put a lot of effort into your skinning style, and I doubt anyone wants to see all your hard work suddenly disappear. also, not deleting it leaves you the option of coming back to the site later, right where you left off.
regardless, please don’t let uncreative skin-stealing randos on the internet stop you from creating and enjoying art, and remember that the Skindex community will always be here if you want to return
