CrowS Operator "Patts"

Patts swung his stiff shoulder, releasing the tension built in it from the ongoing patrol. Its been alredy third hour since his shift and entire compound looked quiet and cold. He threw a small look towards Deak. "I just REALLY wonder why the heck have we been put here instead of that lazy Torst and his buddy Julian. They are definitely playing sick just to get a day off". Deak just nodded, used to Patts' monologues. As Patts opened his mouth to continue his one-sided debate, their radios crackled to life: "Patrol Echo, Patrol Lambda come in". Deak pushed the button and responded: "This is Lambda. Good for now". Operative on the other end confirmed, before turning silent, awaiting response from Patrol Echo. Then, much to suprise of both Deak and Patts, radio let out a loud, high-pitch sound into their headsets. Deak: "TURN IT OFF". Patts struggled with the button. When he finally managed to turn it off, he turned towards Deak. Deak gave him a thumbs up, before suddenly freezing.
