I really wanted to use this cute kitty poncho for something, but I was totally stuck as to what direction to take, or how to do any kind of shading, or any kind of hairstyle... so I used YouTube tutorials by Jingles. Here's a link to the channel! (Seriously, this helped a tonne!)
