transparent pixels exist, pmc editor.
tried it out and it did work tho.
transparent pixels are not really transparent they are just the color of your choosing but are lighter and give the illosion that they are transparent in this case it doesn't make sense

there are only 2 layers and you need 2 layers for the checkerboard thing and 1 for transparent pixels and
even then it still would ruin the first effect

i always thought transparent pixels where just taking the og color and mixing it with the color you chose and it made it look transparent
VERY simple.
make usual special effects base.
then on the overlayer, you go onto pmc editor and drop a transparent color.
download, do the upper effect base.
bam.
