your shading fits perfectly for this reshade <333 love this skin sm! ^w^
Alright, how about this (if you REALLY want me to help you out a bit with the colors)
If you have discord, you can dm me a screenshot of whatever skins you need help with the colors for,
and then I’ll give you tips on how to tweak the colors to make them fit a bit better.
And after several times, you’ll probably get how it works :D

(I help one of my friends with colors like that sometimes, but of course, if you’re not comfortable doing that, it’s completely fine <3)
But you 100% should make a speed paint yt channel, I would def watch it :DDD

I appreciate the offer but I don't got discord, found it quite toxic and inappropriate XD

But ty though. Do you know of any people who do got yt vids? I've watched a lot of Jingle's yt vids but she didn't have a lot with color pallets/theory

See my problem is I can see it but rip my hair out trying to fix it XD

I eventually find something but it hardly ever feels right.

For making colors that go well together technically, you’ll have to look up some color theory tho. xD
I have a hard time explaining stuff like that. For me it’s more like a thing that I can tell when it looks right, and I know how to fix it, but I can’t explain how (unless I’m in the same room as the other person)

Well it depends on how much more complex you want your shading (because I myself don’t have very complex shading xD)
My advice for that would be to just start off with what you have already, and just tweak it a bit here and there as you make skins. Eventually you’ll end up with something you like a lot. Also play around with the outer layer, and using lighter colors on it in some places.

Color palettes, idk this is the part that’s hard to explain xD
One way to make the colors go together is to give everything a slight tint. Like mine are all tinted slightly purple (slightly). So all my browns start in the red section, never orange. My blues are usually more towards purple, and I make sure to hueshift towards the pink/purple area.
I'd say about yours to ItsJinxx level of complexity, so a little more but not like over the top every pixel is a different shade XD

And yeah, I do the hue-shifting thing a lot, or I at least try and the skin grows a mind of it's own :/

But especially the hair, oml my hair shading needs to change I might tweak out if I see it again XD
I guess another way to put it is finding colors that fit with a color scheme

For a while, I've wanted to adopt a more complex shading style and I also think my color palettes could use some work, I feel like I have a hard time getting colors that all fit together nicely and achieve the kinda look or vibe I want. If that makes sense lol.
