So, before I get to the story, I'd like to know what y'all think of the skin! I experimented with the hair a bit. I tried a bit of curls on the front and there's a french braid on the back. Do you like it?

Now, the story's in the description. Sort oldest first.

The skin's of Laureen, btw. :P

Thanks!
I do it exactly like that, except that I shade the and add an outer layer to the front before doing everything else, which I shade and add outer layer as I go.
ooh nice ;D
usually I just do the whole front of the skin
I do the outfit in whatever order
then I fill in the skin
then I do the hair on the front
and I'm just shading random parts of the skin while doing everything else
and once the front's completely done I block in everything else than shade that
and outer layer after that

I like to get the design fully fleshed out first, and that includes shading. XD

Mmm.
*Totally not me trying to imagine her with a curly mustache because that's what my brain thinks of when you say "french"-*

“The one about dragon’s blood? It’s actually pretty simple. I’ll tell you about it later.”
OOH SO THIS *IS* A MAGIC SCHOOL

._.
o_o
How.
I can't do that-
I have to design the whole thing before shading it...
I have to design the whole outfit, the whole hair, the whole all of it
I cannot do just the front
How
I
Why
What

I usually work on one part at a time and use the eraser tool to get rid of the part I'm working on if it looks like trash, because I don't want to lose the stuff I've already finished.
I usually start a skin by making the face, then the clothing on the top, then the legs, then add any hair hanging down on the front. I do all that without rotating the skin. once I'm done with the front, I do the sides, back, and bottom, adding different details than are on the front as needed.

I just reset it all the time-
You make it sound so organized and methodical and I'm over here just like

"Yeah no that's trash bye-"
