Creekstar - Chapter Two

Proudly, Creekpaw dropped a rabbit onto the Fresh Kill Pile. She had caught it on her hunting trip earlier this morning. Meadowshine gave a nod of approval. Creekpaw then noticed Fernpaw and Poolnose slowly walking into camp. Fernpaw's head hung low, and she carried a small mouse in her mouth. Poolnose didn't even glance at her, and he did not look happy. But as Creekpaw padded off to question them, Brightstar called a meeting. The large tom looked almost like the sun, gazing happily down onto his Clan.
"Cats of SunClan," he mewed in his deep voice, his face changing to a more serious expression. "Dewnose and Bramblestrike have scented a Badger along PebbleClan border on their patrol. We will have to be cautious, and Queens, keep your kits close." Cloudgaze and Brownstripe immedietly pulled their kits closer.
"I will send out Patchtail, Sparrowfeather, Creekpaw, and Poolnose to try and find the badger, maybe even chase it out." Creekpaw's eyes widened. She was going to try and find a /badger/? Poolnose gave a quiet snort, surprised that Creekpaw was going with.
