Creekpaw felt a hiss rise in her throat as her sister, Fernpaw, nudged her ear.
"Wake up," Fernpaw grumbled, her grey tabby pelt sparkling in the sunlight that flooded into the Apprentices' Den. Creekpaw swatted at Fernpaw, her green eyes finally opening. Already, they blazed with anger.
"What?" Creekpaw spat. "What is it? I was trying to sleep," she said with an annoyed flick of her tail. Fernpaw gave a quiet amused purr.
"You already forgot? Meadowshine and Poolnose are supposed to be training us today!" Suddenly, Creekpaw's eyes shot open in surprise. She forgot. Meadowshine was her mentor, a beautiful pale brown tabby she-cat with bright amber eyes and a soft yet somehow controlling voice. With a flick of her ear, Creekpaw sprinted out of the den. SunClan camp was lush and beautiful, with the dens large and luxurious. The other Clans hated them for that. SunClan also had the largest territory, with LeafClan in second. Creekpaw-

Meadowshine, and then padded out of camp.
"Come on," the tom grumbled as he pushed past the thick brambles. Fernpaw happily gasped, quietly squealing as she bounded off toward her mentor.
"What're you waiting for?" Meadowshine nudged Creekpaw's shoulder. "Let's hurry before they leave us behind." And with that, the tabby she-cat swished her tail, then padded off after the two, and Creekpaw followed.

-Spotted the two mentors at the bramble tunnel, that led to the exit of SunClan Camp. Poolnose, Fernpaw's mentor, was a sleek silver tom with an intimidating icy blue gaze. He stared down at Creekpaw, Unimpressed.
"Where were you? A real apprentice doesn't sleep in. Stop acting like a kit, you have responsibilities now!" the tom spat. Creekpaw was about to hiss back the meanest stuff ever, but didn't get the chance to, as Fernpaw shouldered her way past her sister.
"We're so sorry!" she mewed. "I was awake on time, I had to wake up Creekpaw! We're sorry..!" Fernpaw glanced at Creekpaw.
"I'm not..." Creekpaw muttered under her breath. Meadowshine gave a silent amused purr. Fernpaw's ears flattened, ready to hear their punishment, but Poolnose only scoffed, nodded to-
