Hello, I am Dr. J here to document the discoveries of a new species, Replacements. After lengthy study, we have found these creatures are highly adaptable, after just one week of living in the desert, the specimen perfectly adapted to the environment, their base form is now a tan mixed with browns instead of black and red, we have decided to call this sub species “Miragers” this name was suggested by one of our ex employees, who’s name has been stricken from the record for classified reasons. A similar experiment was done in the opposite environment, yielding similar results with the base form shifting to white and dark grey. These were named “snow dreamers”. This experiment was done once again in a land rich with rivers ponds and lakes. Once again we had the same results, with the base form gaing gills and becoming blue and sea foam green. These ones were called lake distortions
